Today's Activities:
  1. Begin Postcard Project (gDoc)
  2. Finish and check the Photoshop 7 tutorial on Steel Text Generation
DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to apply the Principles of Design (PARC) in the design of a Postcard. The will demonstrate this by turning in the Postcard Project

  1. Intro to Page Layout and P. A. R. C.
  2. Complete the Photoshop 7 tutorial on Steel Text Generation
    For Reference: Other Photoshop 7 Tutorials from About.com
DLT: By the end of class, students will be able to create a custom text effect using Photoshop 7. They will demonstrate this by completing the PS 7 tutorial on Steel Text.

Sketch3: NOTES Find an iconic Poster with an interesting story behind it, like the two we have looked at. Describe the poster and the story. Then add the poster to your Image Practice Google Doc. This webpage (and several others on the same site) is a great starting point.

  1. Complete the NOTES on an Interesting Poster (See Sketch3 above)
  2. Write (Revise, Update, and or Publish) Blog Post 2 - Collage Project (see directions on gDoc)
DLT: By the end of the class, students will be able to describe a story about a poster design. They will demonstrate this by completing Sketch3.
